Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is an increasingly integral component of sustainable research. As a standardised tool, it provides a framework for evaluating the environmental, economic, and social impacts of products or services through comprehensive and holistic investigations.
In order to address the future challenges, it is essential to adopt an interdisciplinary approach and to facilitate cooperation between a wide range of disciplines. The TU Wien is home to a number of academics who have accumulated extensive expertise in life cycle assessment in their respective specialised fields over years.
The LCA Symposium offers a space for scientists at TU Wien to learn from each other in the field of LCA and sustainability analysis, to network and to develop new projects and collaborations.
The program consists of a series of inspiring presentations and inputs from the various specialist areas and different discussion rounds and workshops.
Our aim is to promote life cycle thinking and to increase knowledge about life cycle assessment and sustainability assessment among researchers and students at TU Wien.
We cordially invite you to submit contributions by the End of April:
